Kay Heiser, Office Manger
Kay grew up in southern Illinois and moved to Champaign area in 1967 where she graduated from the Surgical Technician Program at Carle Hospital. Her years of experience in the medical and dental field has fueled her passion for helping and caring for people. She has been assisting patients with appointments, presenting treatment plans, making financial arrangements, handling billing and insurance claims in our office since 1988. Kay enjoys helping her patients make decisions to achieve maximum dental care and she is an insurance specialist.
Kay and her husband enjoy nature, country living, and tending to their large garden and many cats. Their two children have blessed them with grandchildren who bring them great joy. When Kay is not at work, she volunteers with the PrairieLand Anticruelty Program, a spay-neuter clinic for strays and animals at risk.

Sue Inskip, Office Assistant
Sue has filled many roles our office since she started in 1983. She is at the front desk and ready to help you with appointments, treatment plans, answer insurance questions, and make financial arrangements. She loves working with the latest technologies in the dental field and getting them integrate into the practice. Sue loves that she works with a team of such warm, caring and skilled professionals.

Outside the office she tries to keep up with her husband and four grown children who are furthering their educations and beginning careers in architecture and Real Estate.  Grandchildren are starting to expand her family so she has lots of opportunities to host many family gatherings.

Ticia Kresin, Dental Assistant
Her gentle hands, expertise, and eye for detail has helped countless patients since she began in dentistry in 1991. "My favorite thing about dentistry is helping others achieve a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile". I love my patients and I have built great relationships.

She is a native of Tuscola---Go Warriors!!! Her husband and 2 children keep her busy with many swim meets, baseball and basketball games. You can bet she'll have her camera handy and turn those most memorable moments into unique and beautiful scrapbook pages.  It might surprise you to know that Ticia creates beautiful Christmas ornaments that she cuts out of wood and hand paints them.

Cathy Joyce, Dental Assistant
How lucky we are to have such a pleasant and caring person to help our patients and assist in their treatments. Her gracious and gentle ways have been a comfort to our patients since she joined our team in 1995. Cathy's favorite thing to do is assisting in making crowns and bridges.

Cathy and her family enjoy spending time together and with friends. They also love to travel. John has been a mail carrier for over 40 years and their son is a talented graphic designer and loves baseball. This is truly a family of dedicated Cubs Fans. Go Cubbies! She also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and walks for a Cure for Breast Cancer. It might surprise you to learn that she loves to dance too.

Denise Terrio, Dental Hygienist
Denise, a California native, has a longstanding interest in Dentistry that started in High School when she worked as a file clerk for a dentist. She worked as an assistant before becoming a hygienist in 1997. Her favorite thing about her job is helping people, working hard, but also having fun together as a staff. Denise will help you care for your teeth in the most gentle and kind manner. She teaches and guides her patients in proper home techniques of tooth care. She is always ready to explain your treatment and answer any questions. She wants all of her patients to leave her chair with a bright and shiny smile.
Family time for Denise and her husband includes lots of time together as their family of three adult children continues to grow as the children marry. She is an avid scrapbooker and is an active member of her church.

Jamie Daugherty, Dental Hygienist
Since graduating from Lakeland College in 2001, Jamie has loved serving patients in the C-U area and has been a member of our team since 2003. She enjoys working with such a great staff in a friendly environment. She prides herself on maintaining a caring relationship with our patients and her role is pivotal in your oral care. "We like to have fun, but we always make sure our patients are taken care of first".

She grew up in nearby Arthur. Jamie, her husband and daughter now live in Atwood where they enjoy spending time with family and friends. When the weather is nice, you will find her outside working in her yard or training for the next local race. They are true Illini fans – orange and blue through and through and, don't forget, GO CUBBIES!!!
